Why We DON’T Play at Non-PAGCOR Regulated Sites
There are thousands and thousands of gaming websites, investing millions to get your attention and your pesos. But if they are NOT PAGCOR-certified, we avoid them.
Why?
Lots of reasons, especially the “big boys” like 1x2Bet and Stake.com, aren’t necessarily going to rip you off. They have (largely) all the same games as everyone else – or less. Many of the “big boys” don’t have PG Soft, Jili, or FaChai, the developers behind many of the Filipinos’ favorite games, as they are focused on Western markets, not the Philippines.
While many of the smaller fish – and a few of the larger ones – you may come across WILL rip you off (a Curacao license means next to nothing), delay or disappear with your payments, some even use COUNTERFEIT games, and of course, the WORST ones are using slave labor for your entertainment (watch “No More Bets” on Netflix); you can easily check their reputations online.
Just easier to use PAGCOR-licensed sites.
These operators FOCUS (for the most part) on Filipinos; it costs real money to get into the game here, not to mention some due diligence and transparency. They are dedicated to at least giving you the games you want. Near-instant Gcash transactions. Apps on Glife. These are all signs of an intelligent and probably trustworthy gaming site (perhaps because things can and do change).
But even more importantly, PAGCOR operators remit gaming taxes to PAGCOR, and PAGCOR then remits to the government which, we hope, in an ideal world, makes its way back to us Filipinos in schools, infrastructure, healthcare, and Sara Duterte’s pockets (oops! political! sorry!). Non-PAGCOR sites pay NOTHING, ZERO, NADA to help our nation. They just take, perhaps lining the pockets of some local celebs and media companies along the way.
The gaming tax rate has recently dropped from 43% of “GGR” (Gross Gaming Revenue – we won’t get into the technical details of this here) to 25% to encourage illegal, offshore gaming enterprises to go legit. They won’t (okay, very, very few. PNXBet did!). Doesn’t fit their business model or their modus operandi.
So, want to use Crypto? There are PAGCOR sites that now take it. Low minimum deposit via safe, direct Gcash, or Maya? A PAGCOR site. The games you like? PAGCOR sites have them.
Don’t gamble with where you gamble. Stick with us, kabayan. Mahal namin kayo!
